GENIUS! I'm going to do it on a new shower install. I'll buy a good shower pan and install this over drywall, might paint the drywall with RedGard or something. THANK YOU SIR!

What a great idea; im seriously thinking of doing this over our big corner tub; then replace the tub spout with one that has an optional long metal shower hose, mount that on the wall, enclose it in shower curtains, so we can use that area as a shower/tub instead of only a tub.

I can see the bubbles form as it was skipped. This is why rollers, squeegees, and a heat gun are an absolute must. Other part, great. Im just a vynl guy. High quality vynl will even go on better tiny bit of soap and water under it. It also needs to be put on alot slower and not half hang on while other work is done. Sheet vynl is 100% once or youll get bubbles that will expand and get worse. You can pierce a needle and reglue it in some cases. Love everything else.

Nice!!! Maybe next time use a roller to stick the vinyl to the wall. Very good idea to use vinylflooring. Looks very smooth. Your trousers made me laugh. Can't wait to see your finished shower room. Greetings from the Netherlands😉

Hi Robert, here in the South West of Western Australia we have a few rammed earth buildings around which use industrial pressure to create the most impressive blocks of compressed earth you've ever seen. I was wondering however, if you know, what is the equivalent R insulative value of the style of mud earth typical for your farm house? It looks to be approximately 250-300mm thick but the composition made me think it might conduct like concrete rather than insulate. Could you educate me or point me to some information about that building practice in Slovenia?
