Tip 2 I show how to temporarily fasten so the floor doesn’t move and has a nice flat edge to work with.

To answer other commenters, some Procore comes with underlayment backing. Not sure if this one did. A bigger problem is with the prepping. All of those holes and knot holes should have been filled with a floor patch. LVP needs to be installed on a flat and solid surface.

Haha. Oh yeah in this case just utilize some flooring samples for spacers.

So this doesn’t require underlayment? I could not find a good answer, we are also putting it over a similar sub floor in a 1927 farmhouse and I thought the underlayment would be required. How has it held up?

Hey there, You will want to make sure you read what is required for your specific flooring. However most vinyl plank flooring has a rubber type pad built into the plank in which you don’t need underlayment. This floor is holding up great! Hope this helps.

Oh awesome! So if the floor is pretty level then there is no need for underlayment. I actually installed this same flooring in one of our bathrooms that had a very uneven floor and put a foam underlayment down and I hate it. It actually pops and creaks and joints are popping out. This flooring is tricky to work worth so hopefully my video helps you out with installation.

@@Gurlmom5 The flooring is great just definitely do the prep work before installing. Any vinyl flooring will have its flaws if you don’t do the correct prep work. Good luck with your flooring install.
