Great tunes, it's nice to hear a DJ play something other than the tick tick tick metronome beat that's so prevalent these days. You know what this reminds me of? In San Francisco they used to have a Sunday daytime party called Boogie Buffet. At a club that was normally stuffed to the gills at night, they opened up the roof on the main floor to let the sunshine in, put down beanbag chairs on the dancefloor, and served pancakes & mimosas, with a soundtrack much like this. @@RD-jr8nv The beginning of this set, in a current day mix, where he begins with blips of sound from each turntable, reminds me of the end of a set at Boogie Buffet, where the DJ, with no records on, began tapping on each of the platters, making a bass sound come through the sound system, and he began doing a free jam, just with his various fingers and the turntables alone :) Meanwhile, good lord does this DJ in the recent set live up to his name haha! kzbin.info/www/bejne/pYeypouPqdacbKs
