Wow, I really had no idea that I would fall back in love with Vinyl as much as I have lately. The warm sounds of the music along with a few authentic skips and or pops here in there definitely add to the adventures of making a DJ Mix. I wanted to record "Volume One" this coming weekend but the music "called" me late last evening (When the music calls, you definitely have to answer). Vol.1 just like the "Warm Up" is all analog, just two Turntables and a Mixer! (Not even any effects). Its really amazing how good getting back to the basics can feel sometimes. Lot's of classic tunes are on this one along with a few eclectic newbies to hopefully keep you guys dancing... (Enjoy)

Im in my late 50s, And have gone through rap, house, Acid Jazz. soulful house ( My favorite*** ) Sal Soul, Black Birds, Leon Ware who wrote for the late dear Michael Jackson, the great Marvin G, All the Motown Crew, War. Joe Sample ( Ever Thought of doing a re-mix of Joes ( RAINBOW SEEKER*** ) How could one leave out Roy Ayres... To listen to some of the modern house of the last twenty years, is some times funny (To the point of house losing its essents...) When the producers sample whole chunks from the MoTown or SalSoul past tracks its OK... We Badly need Someone who will evolve house music and give it the respect it deserves. Now is the time for the DJs to Transcend the music. Keep leading the quest Spivey...
