That's a great question! We're not certain that you can't buy small quantities at Home Depot or Lowes. Assuming you can't, here are some reasons. CertainTeed siding products are often marketed through specialty distributors and independent retailers rather than big-box stores. It could be a variety of reasons. Big box stores like products that fly off the shelves - this siding is more of a specialty item that is used by mainly by contractors. There could be partnership agreements in place with certain distributors. Could also have something to do with the manufacturers warranty. You can search on Certainteed's website where you can purchase this product.

at the moment for Double 4 in. x 150 in. White Lap Vinyl Siding ..... 147.00 .. there are 24 pieces a box , for a moment I thought that price was for 1 piece homedepot
