I don't know how hot your mix is, but spray it, let it dwell for fifteen minutes or so and see the results. No need to flood it. This will certainly save you money on chemicals and time...Thanks for the video..I love the before and after!! That's why I do it!!

Of course, rinse with fresh water. I always start from the bottom and work my way up to the eaves to prevent streaking.

I was thinking that at first too Michael, but then I noticed the thunder and realized he was racing against the storm. I prefer cleaning roofs myself, but it's very cathartic and I love the customers reactions when they see the difference.

I use about 10% bleach and 2 or 3 ounces of dishwashing detergent in water in my garden sprayer then I use one of those telescoping poles with a car wash brush head to get it ALL off.

Could you please show your set up as far as the tank, motor ( psi, gallon per minute ) and if it can run continuously when the trigger isn’t pulled. I see lots of videos with the exact spray tips you use which is absolutely great and the height is a absolutely must for cleaning houses.

Been pressure washing for over 17 years and pressure washing does the best job. 10 percent chlorine mix with getting the chlorine off really good is the best way to do this job. Soffits are designed so water will not spray into the house if you stand there and just keep spraying directly into the direction the holes are going, then you will get it into the house. Vinyl siding is locked into each piece of the vinyl before it. If water got into the walls they wouldn’t be able to sale it as a safe product. The statements I’m seeing here on you tube have no scientific proof of what they are saying. This video was an ok video if your trying to clean your own home. Don’t do this professionally. Way to much chemical usage that will kill grass or other living things. You need to lay down a lot of water to do what this guy is doing.

I think you know a lot about the item, you have some suggestions, to clean mold and mildew, you did it at 10%, ... I worked at 13%, but without gardens or nearby grass, the result was optimal, but if there are mushrooms and it must be cleaned with soft abrasives, there is a way in which these residues can be eliminated, without having to use the stairs .... ????

I was cringing at this video. Was watching nothing but all the over spray that was getting everywhere and potentially killing all the plants. I've been doing pressure washing for quite some time now, and yes, I've soft wash sides of houses, but that has only been for red mold, a simple X-Jet or downstream injector could have gotten the job done a lot safer.

My motivation in watching this clip was to see what other washers are doing. Well there are several mistakes in his application process and very sure that he feels he is doing a "PROFESSIONAL" job. Its very similar to watching guys at Planet Fitness "TRAIN" each other. He should have obtained practical certification in this service along with a business licence or just watched a few more KZbin videos .

Use 2 cups of pool bleach and 1 oz of Dawn Ultra per gallon of water. You can mix it in a tank sprayer and apply it with that. Let it sit for about 15 minutes and then rinse with a hose with a nozzle that has pretty decent pressure. It will clean almost everything but rust, tar and certain types of fungus. As long as your tank sprayer can reach your peaks you won't need to get out a ladder or use a pressure washer. If you can't locate the pool bleach (10.5%) then you can use the 8.5% in the laundry aisle. Just mix an extra cup of bleach per gallon. It's best to add the water to the sprayer first, then add the bleach and Dawn to prevent the soap from getting too sudsy.

Bad idea pressure washing underside of eaves. Water can penetrate attic, soaking the insulation and or possibly drip down inside of sheetrock! And, you don't want to angle the nozzle so that the water stream hits vinyl siding so that the water penetrates the siding getting the underlayment wet.

@kekhexenpepe6668

It doesn't. You need a surface cleaner that attaches to your pressure washer wand to properly clean decks and concrete. You can use chemicals, but they never work as good as the surface cleaner does.

People who do pressure washing like this don't know SHIT about building science. YOU NEVER spray water on the underside of vented soffits, especially with a pressure washer or so-called soft washing. All this guy did was push water up on the underside of the roof, soak the attic insulation where it will mold and mildew and not provide as much insulating as well as create mold and mildew inside the walls of the house. This is a BIG NO NO..... you're better off getting a ladder and a spray bottle filled with water and bleach and spraying it down and then following back up with a cheap bundle of shop rags to wipe everything down.

@@adrian84vj I paid a lot of good money to get my professional training so why would I give the information away for free and take potential customers out of my business and other professional businesses? Besides, I really doubt you'd buy the product to start with since a 1 gallon size is about $180 or about $750 for 5 gallons delivered, and you could have your house professionally cleaned for about that 1 gallon price and not have to lift a finger and break a sweat. I say this because most people that can afford bigger and more expensive homes don't scour the internet looking for ways to save a little money and consider their time more valuable. I mix this with another product that is about $140 per gallon delivered to help remove environmental contaminants, do a better job dissolving spider webs and similar nests and such, in addition to removing the algae. I mean no offense about the size of your house thing...as a friend of mine once said and I fit this too...one of the happiest and saddest days of my business life was when I realized people living in houses the same size of mine are not my best target customer and I had to aim higher! :0)

@panoramicclean3956
@panoramicclean3956 6 жыл бұрын
No, no need to scrub or get the ladder. That is one of the beauties of Soft Washing. Once you've cleaned the house, all of this can be rinsed away with garden hose pressure. This house I cleaned in the video linked at the end is similarly dirty. It's a time-lapse video, but you can see the stains are not removed with pressure. I spray on the solution as this guy does, and the cleaning solution does the work. My additives will clean without using sodium hypochlorite, but it makes for a faster clean. As the guy said above, he suggested a 50/50 mix. With my additives, I can use about 1/15 water & sodium hypochlorite and get the same results. Professional equipment, professional surfactants and professional training, that's what separates the professionals from the rest. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g2fVq3ualsaarMU I'm not trying to piggy back off of his video so much as show how effective the process is and that he wasn't using trick videography.
