What a treat to see a coloured vinyl with sand. Amazing. Does it affect the sound in any way? Fantastic to see Dolly Parton mentioned in the tag. She's just awesome. Enjoyed watching.

I started adding to my collection again prolly have around 5000 records, 1000 of those are prolly creme de la creme, the rest are local Canadian country bands you never heard of, but i primarily collect punk and classic rock. The other day I picked up.. Wire- Pink Flag, Blink-182- Dude Ranch, Leftover Crack- Fuck World Trade, NOfx- So Long And Thanks For All The Shoes, Reagan Youth- Vol.1 and Vol.2, Sum 41- Chuck(RSD release), Dead Kennedys- Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables and Dayglo Abortions- Feed US. A. Fetus. P.S. Record prices need to go down.

What pressing of fresh fruit did you get and how does it sound?

I picked up a 2011 pressing on Manifesto, MFO 42917. I noticed on both sides of the record the original matrix numbers have been scratched out and the new matrix numbers have an indication of "A" which could indicate a brand new plate was manufactured to press this version. I have a pretty good set up with a $1500 record player and realistic speakers from the 70s, this album sounds pretty damn good, it wasn't a record with a lot of depth originally but the depth that is there is captured in this pressing for sure. My brother was going to give me his records. Wife said no, his son should have them. 6 months later their basement flooded 🙄MGK is such a mensch. Dolly Parton. Did not see that one comming. I like the positive. You inspired me to get a certain record player for where I stay a lot right now btw 😊 Keep up the great work, told you before, you are my new releases source now. I was thinking there’s no way you only have 1 album from a Manchester band or artist. Everyone has a few be it Joy Division, 10cc, Buzzcocks, New Order, The Smiths, Stone Roses and then I noticed The Verve album on the wall. They are from Wigan, Greater Manchester!

Great Vinyl Tag. I couldn’t get into the Dolly album. Wanted to, but couldn’t. I thought it was too long and pretty corny at times.

Yeah, I think there could have been some songs trimmed off of it and it would have been a better album overall. It still far exceeded my expectations.
