I really like being subscribed to record label's channels like FBR, Hopeless, Fearless, etc. because it opens doors for new music. I saw this upload and just clicked it. Their BEST song hands down wow. There’s 2 versions of this song, this is the “remastered” one, the original one has less of a “techno” sound in the verses, different bridge (same lyrics but diff. vocals) & this version has clearer backing vocals in the final chorus. Love both tho!

what I take away from this songs message is that the 'gold' they're describing is a passion or a dream they've been searching for, a purpose that society/government doesn't see as being beneficial to the economy. the video reminds me of how in today's world we go through the same system every day for the average person, go to work/school, work all day until you finally go home, sleep and repeat. the 'we live, we die, resume' part is in a sense we live for the governments standards, we 'die' or drift off into slumber during the nights/make the person we were for the day die in the evening, and resume the next day with the same process. the 'have we come here only for an ending?' part to me sounds like he's talking about if we are only here to live until we reach the end of life, since the human race is fascinated and terrified of death.in my opinion, they're saying that they found a purpose or they found something to live for, despite the tough times that society and life puts on them.
