You’re obviously one of the Most talented people in the business and I have never seen a video on how to wrap a cylinder tube as in a high powered rocket which would be 4 inches diameter, and also is it possible to wrap the nose cone of a rocket with a 4 inch diameter nosecone about 18 inches long . will it stretch that far?

Is there a reason why you would install the wrap on the scoop while it's resting on the vehicle instead of on a workspace/desktop? Great video, raw talent in motion.

It's easier when it's mounted to something as stable and secure as the car. If it was on a table it would be sliding around

Hello again C. I must have watched this video a 100 times. I have a 2009 wrx hatch with the same hood scoop and about to try my first wrap. I have a good vinyl and knifeless tape. All I need now is your advice, do I try to wrap it in one, or use a inlay like you did. I'm doing it all in the same colour carbon vinyl.
@Reaper_Racing5 жыл бұрын
Cassié J Vance yeah I’m curious if this can be done in one piece or if it really need to be an inlay

Dude. This is why I joined your classes @ckwraps.com to learn stuff like how do I wrap my hood scoop on my mini R53. Smaller than the Subaru scoop but I’m sure the procedure is the same. It’s a lot harder with crappy cheap film , bit i was practicing and yes I tried one piece. Now I know. It’s getting it around that pesky left and right edges that’s my nemesis, So thanks for the 2 piece tips. I’ll try again when my new wrap film finally get delivered I ordered vvivid chrome red. Is that a bad idea for a beginner 101 😎?
@CKWraps3 жыл бұрын
Chrome will be tough man, especially for beginners. I didn't touch chrome for 2-3 years into wrapping
@stevewalker98883 жыл бұрын
@@CKWraps oh pooh. I just got a whole heap of chrome red. And it’s the same crap I got to practice with. At least I can do my quarter panel without any joins in it. It actually went on easy. I do wanna know. Though. What temperature is your heat gun. Mine can go from 50 degree c to 650 degree c in increments of 10 degree. what is too much and what is not enough ? Thanks for replying. 👍

You should have whoever you have film carry a flashlight with them. It would make it way easier to see what you're talking about in tight spaces. Would make it much easier to follow, and hopefully stop some of your viewers having to stop and back the video up over and over to be able to see what you're talking about.

I’ve watched this video about 10 times I have a 2008 wrx and want to wrap the hood scoop. I totally get the two piece and it will work for the same color. Can you maybe explain to me in a little more detail about a single piece wrap or maybe even a 3-5 min explanation before your next video. It’s just there are no videos out there where one piece hood scoop wraps professionally done only a couple newbies that fail. Doesn’t seem like a huge thing but there are NO videos with one piece .
@CKWraps6 жыл бұрын
That's because it can't be done in one piece. I explain in the beginning how you need to do the first piece. Attempting it in one piece will lead to failure
