Thanks. When i wrote Maya's character...yes she is Native Ameican, but part of her character and her personality is a hot, angered, rebel badass chick. And I got a lot of her sassy, witty attitude from listening to a lot of 80s rock, really rebel rock, to shape her personality, and the opposite of Violet in the games. 80s rock like Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Rolling Stones, and CCR shaped and inspired me to write a badass Native American 80s rocker chick in the world of the walking Dead, and have the kind of Peter Quill (Guardians of the Galaxy) style to her. And as I was mixing the more I look at Sam and meshing it with Violet the more Sam is more an attractive match to Violet in the games.
