Wait wait wait , I just realised something, why did Gilbert brother give her to Gilbert of all poeple, why give the hateful war tool that killed your men to your own brother that you probably knew was gonna take care of her regardless of your wishes, I mean he would have thought of countless ways to miss treat her including at least keeping her in the box till who knows when ,but no he gave her away to his kind morally uptight brother, yeah he could have just wanted to use her to protect him but meh it's just too uncharacteristic

his brother gave him violet for she to protect gilbert. he always worried about his little brother and that's why he was so upset with violet, because she did come back alive but his brother didn't.

@@crisosamu3496 yeah I know but did it really have to be her ,I mean logically speaking would you trust your only brother safety with the kid who butchered your men and then you abused , I didn't completely watch the show with the movies nor read the light novels but I just think he isn't your typical vengeful antagonist, either way I don't want it to be this simple cause it's more thought provoking this way
