Fun fact: When he does the spirit bomb move, you can challenge him and when you damage him enough it becomes on your side and hits him for a free knockdown! Kinda like the worthy gets control of it. Dopest monster in this update for sure.

Definitely important to remember! Keep trying to flinch Violet Mizutsune when that orb is put in the sky. If you can't flinch it, then just sheathe and dive.

Violet is the best addition, and easily top 5 favorite monster for me. The design and fight are soo good. And that sound effect on the big attack is the cherry on top.

11:46 That status is All elemental resistance down. Violet mizutsune seems to be the only moster in the entire francise to use this debuff. It applies this debuff if you walk through the oil or get hit by certain fire moves. Capcom didn't even tell us about that, they must be going all out on the next Title update if they already start including Defence down and Elemental resistance down.

Seltas also gives All Element Resistance down, and I believe Bnahabra do too. Frankly, we needed more monsters with these ailments.

Mizu was already a Top 10 monster for me so Violet was just everything to me. I love that the music changes from Infernal Springs to his theme once he goes Ultraviolet, amazing touch. I also love how his weapon allows for some nice customization which is always nice. Great Vid as always and can't wait for the Risen Chameleos vid!

With that Spirit Bomb attack, they should have made this a golden variant Mizutsune.🤣 But man, those animation are so dope! The way it jumps around to gather the water orb (looks just like Naruto gathering a Rasengan XD) and all the water droplets spinning like a typhoon before the big blast. This might just be the most beautiful attacks I’ve seen yet!

Fun fact: Flaming Espinas’s weapons (ALL) also apply Poison on top of the Fire Element and it is effected by all the poison enhancing skills!

I really like this monster and this fight. The way it floods the arena with homing bubbles to keep you on your toes, the way that it covers it's openings by leaving behind those bubble mines, the way that it just keeps moving to disorient you and then holds it's big slam to bait your counter. It feels so intelligent, plus it's weapons look nice too, I like the blue/violet to them.

Violet was a hella sleeper hit for me, kinda forgot it was being added, but the way it moves, all the particle effects, and the way at 9:30 it changes the theme of the fight, so good. Gameplay wise I loved the fight with lance because it felt challenging, like those bubbles can cross me up on my guard, forcing me to either move around way more than usual, try out powerguard since its 360 cover, or use mizu as a shield from the bubbles since they collide with it and deal with all the risks/rewards that come from each option, all of which forcing me to play in ways I haven't yet, 10/10 monster.

Vizu Legs are an absolute STAPLE for Lance players now. They beat out Ingot in effectiveness, they’re that crazy. The coil’s been working pretty good with Lucent Arms in my status trigger set, too.

Well its basically evade window 5 with evade extender 3 Pair that with the silkbind skill for duals that regens sharpness on dodging , the constitution on the set The whole set is just god tier for dual blades You can also take away the head and switch it for gold rath with 2 points in status trigger With dual blades you can get enough dodges to make status trigger 2 work , especially with the lv 5 evade window you get from the skill

Fun note: the Embolden literlly works like Evade W and Guard per lvl (lvl 1 Embold = 1lvl of Ev W and Guard) The Evade window doesnt stack if at lvl 2 or more with Max Embolden but Guard does stack even at lvl 5 ...... so you can make a real TANK build with this

When I first saw the spirit bomb bubble, I tried throwing kunai at it to pop it. Missed opportunity to put enough damage into it and debuff the Mizu, even if it just disables the soapy glide it has for a bit

Hey Uno, I deff enjoy the fight and this fight more out of the three that was added. Also like the new skill his armour set offers. I think the one thing that will disappoint me about „reskinned mons“ is just changing the color basically on their armour. Minus the slight changes on the Risen Cammy one I wish they would’ve made the armour sets slightly different… maybe if the armour had a gunner set from other series they could’ve added that design or maybe do something like they did with Risen and slightly change it up a bit so it isn’t just a recolor but deff loving the slots on the weapons and find it weird that Risen Cammy didn’t get a weapon so I guess none of the Risen Elders will get new weapons either 😔

It doesn’t. It leaves a small thing of fire beside it when it stops the beam to catch people that stick to the side of its face during the attack. You’re getting hit by an intentional hitbox

lucky you he is weak to Ice Hes one of four Mons who inflict element defense Down. Lv 4 Slot, 2 WEX, 2 Offensive Guard. Thats pretty good for Lance and GL.

I hate Violet Mizu, this is one of those monsters that can move any way it wants because of the soap and the leviathan shape. Pure trial and error to learn it when it starts leaping and slipping. And to make it worse, previously safe openings are either covered by the grounded puddles and the homing bubbles. Charge Blade user here, suffering hard.
