It's obvious Wonka intended for each kids fate He brings each kid to a room that tests their cons For Agaustus it was the candy room (he loved food) for violet it was the inventing room that has a machine that makes the best gum in the world (violet loves gum) for veruca I was the golden goose room that lays golden eggs (veruca is a spoilt brat that loves expensive stuff) and for Mike it was the shrinking TV room (Mike is obsessed with tv) It's obvious Wonka planned for these kids to make the mistakes they made, there's more proof like how the Wonkatania has only enough seats for the rest (after Agaustus is gone)
