This video is a re-upload because I forgot to add in some footage the first time. I also made some changes to the background music.

For first time application, I suggest fine grade sandpaper or if you really don’t have that, very light scoring with a razor/sharp knife. I noticed some pieces of rosin chipped off with the knife you used

I use Andrea solo now, I love them. They require little application and it's so grippy and clear on the strings.

Whoa- please don't scratch the rosin. There's no need to do so as the new shiny surface rubs off after a few swipes. Scratching the rosin only makes the rosin more prone to shattering, especially in a cake rosin such as the Pirastro ones. It also increases the chance of snagging your bow hair on any unevenness or sharpness. Contrary to popular internet belief, it does not help "release" the rosin, a few swipes with the bow already does that.

I almost agreed with her when she said she hates warm weather since it was like 30° but then I realized she meant celsius and not farenheit.

I have orange Pirastro rosin. Used different types but never payed attention to the difference in sound. Now I will listen more carefully 🤔

The Tonica one? That one's orange. It's all very interesting! I'm still getting used to mine, some moments I have less grip than I'm used to, but other moments it sounds supernice.

Greetings from Ukraine 🇺🇦 Thanks for such a useful video. Because of you I know, that there are 8 types of rosin and I defined, what rosin will be next one in my use. Would love to share my music with you, as my thankfulness, if you like. Kind regards…
