I have used a rice shampoo bar and I have also used a few others. I have trained my hair for years now and I only have to wash 1x a week with zero oil. I only am washing out product and just cleaning my hair. I have super soft spiral curly hair. The bar soap does a beautiful job on it.

I just started using this brand today and I couldn't believe how shiny my hair was! I didn't find it noticeably softer, but maybe somewhat? Also, you seriously have the most soothing voice. I was actually getting sleepy in a good way, just listening to you. :-)

It takes time. It is called a transition period to go from liquid to natural shampoo. It can take up to a month.

I have been using it for about 7 months, just purchased my second set and my hair is the longest it’s ever been. I traditionally have slow growing hair that had a sticking point it wouldn’t get past. I wash my hair about every 3 days.

I just ordered mine today at Sephora and for the Terrance garden and I’m pregnant and hair shedding like crazy so I’m hoping this and the ordinary glycolic acid toner on my scalp help the shedding thinning and dry itchy scalp from being prego. I only wash my hair once a week anyways and it’s been trained for years to be like that. Now that I’m pregnant with my first child my hair is out of control

Have you tried natural/no heat curling methods on your hair? Like the curly Girl method? Your hair looks like my friends and she thought she had wavy hair but her hair was actually super curly when she used the right methods! Your hair is beautiful :)

Just hopped out of the shower after trying these. ZERO stars. I lathered and lathered their were only 3 bubbles in my hands. Tried again and again to work a lather in my hands. NO LUCK. Finally gave up and ran the shampoo bar through my hair. Got a little later but not enough for a good clean. Rinsed, repeated. Ran the condition over my lengths only. Washed it all out (by then my shower water was COLD this is how long I tried to get a lather with the soap!). My hair still felt dirty. YUK. I had to grab my other shampoo in a non-earth friendly bottle to FINALLY get clean hair as I stood in freezing cold water. NOT HAPPY. Put this stuff in a normal bottle and I'll buy it. If I hadn't grabbed my normal shampoo my hair would look like I was wearing a dead cat on my head. Earth friendly should also be user friendly. If you have HARD water good luck trying to get suds!!!
