Does mossaic split the images perfectly, or does it split images with extra bits so those extra bits can be merged together for blending? I am kind of confused

thanks for the video. After watching I was able to set my 3 portrait displays to 1 large desktop with Mosaic mode. But the problem I have is when I set Chrome to 'full screen' it still only takes up 1 display, not the whole mosaic size. Is this just part of Mosaic where apps can't take up more than 1 display? I had the same luck with VLC.

Hello and many thanks for your video. I’m trying to get a setup of 3projectors to merge together as one via TH2G but after connecting everything to the device no image or display comes on the projectors... any help?

Thanks; would you please guide me for running such a system for regular using in my office to trigger my speed during the working hours? I am also wondering about running multiple video projectors on a curved screen.

Hi, I have 3 projectors and a hyperbolic (double-curved) projection surface. Is it possible to calibrate this?
@viosogmbh6 жыл бұрын
Hello! Thank you for your request. Yes, it is possible to calibrate and map any kind of surface you can imagine with our software. Please write an email to info@vioso.com to tell us something about your project and we will gladly assist you. Or have a look at our homepage www.vioso.com for free trial versions of our software.

I'm confused. In this video are you using mosaic or your own software. I am from a church and we want to join two projectors to make a wide screen. I know I need a graphics card with multiple outputs and stuff but will mosaic edge blend!!!! So there is no hot spot in the middle and will it do it with projectors that don't have edge blending?
@viosogmbh7 жыл бұрын
Dear Rjarrod, Thank you for your comment. Yes we do use NVIDIA mosaic / AMD Eyefinity and our software together. So you do need the right hardware to use VIOSO solutions. Please find further information at our FAQ site: faq.vioso.com/

hello i have an appilcacion where we have 15 existing video cubes in an arrangement of 5H x 3V . I was thinking if i can install 2 nvidia nvs810 in a PC in order to get 16 outputs. do you think i can get the arrangement i want?
@viosogmbh6 жыл бұрын
Hello, thank you for your request. In principle, you can get your arrangement by using two 8-channel display cards. In conjunction with the mosaic feature of nVidia GPUs you can combine multiple displays to a single video wall-type installation. But please also consider an appropriate playback server and software, which can handle that many single video streams and/or high resolution video playback together with tile assignment capabilities. If you need help with this, we will be glad to set up a high-end playback server for you that will be able to handle this task. Please contact us at info@vioso.com

how do you manage to eliminate black level differences when the output is black? if your software is capable of automatically calibrate it, im willing to purchase your product.
@viosogmbh7 жыл бұрын
Hello! Thank you for your question. Black level is something that can only be compensated and made “invisible” by raising the overall black level of all projectors to the level of the maximum overlap of the whole projection, which basically can be the sum of remaining light levels of 2, 3 or 4 overlapping projectors, depending on the setup. This of course reduces the overall contrast ratio of the content significantly. While our software allows to adjust (raise) the black level of all regions that are NOT overlapped, it might not render perfect results in totally dark environments since there will still be lighter and darker regions visible to the trained eye. In this case - and from practical experience - we recommend to take additional measures. You will get good results using some sort of mechanical shutter plates to soften the hard edges of the rectangular projector outputs a little, or by raising the environmental light level, to get that up to the black level. Both actions will help to hide the hard edges of the projection fields. Because from a psychological point of view, these rectangles are in fact the most vivid and first characteristic mark that the human eye will “lock onto” to identify the overlap areas - and then secondly recognize the different black levels afterwards. If you have any further questions, feel free to write us an email to info@vioso.com or visit our website www.vioso.com.
