I like your honesty bro. Ghanaians don’t learn, they’re not being dynamic hence the drop. I always tell them but they don’t wanna hear the truth. They’re very local in anything creative arts and it’s killing them.

Most of the people in the comments here are Nigerians, talking about how they loved this song back in the day, this shows “twi” language isn’t really a barrier for Ghanaian artists to penetrate the music industry of other countries. There is something definitely wrong somewhere.

OMG finally I found this song, for about 5 years I've been looking for this song, every time I'd see a Ghanian person I would sing it,no one could tell me the title, but they knew the song, they even told me what they're saying in the song but no one could me tell me, I was googling, youtubing Ghana music, "gewu", "dewu" couldn't find it, finally I saw my ol' Ghanaian friend and as soon as I sang it, he told me VIP...finally, wow! Oh gosh. Just seeing Suzzy Williams again here. Hmm. Life. She was on the rise when life was cut short. I believe with all my heart she would have been a much bigger star and legend by now. So young too.

This time, Ghana was competing with and on the same level with Nigeria in music. What happened I don't know but Nigeria left them far behind. The new generation of Ghanaian musicians need to up their game.

And Ghana says Niaja doesn't support their music. I fucked with VVIP heavily through my teenage years, this group was the topmen. Ghana movies too were killing it in the '90s.
