*"Durch Den Monsun" came out in August of 2005 and Bill, Tom, Georg and Gustav became global Superstars. And we want to talk about exactly that 15, after the fact. Because of Corona, we had to do a Zoom interview, the twins in Los Angeles, Georg and Gustav join us from Germany.* Interviewer: So How are you? Bill: We are great, it's still pretty early so Tom and i are are still out of it we got up extra early for you. Tom: Eating Pinapple, fresh out of a container. *In Los angeles it's still pretty early in the morning but the guys are wide awake, especially when they think about how this song changed their lives.* Bill: We still play this song at every concert and it is still a special song. I think it will forever be the Song that changed our lives! Interviewer: I remember that moment when Gustav was asked in the studio what his biggest dream is and he smiled and said 'Be signed to a record label would be nice'. Gustav: Oh we had a very nice East-german accent then *They got way more than just being signed to a record label. But very soon they felt the shadow sides of their success. They still can not understand the amount of hate they received back then* Tom: We were still kids, and i remember we went on stage and the Men booed us, they spit at us, they threw bottles, they were so mad and hated us so much and i see this today and think that is scandalous! *Now they are all in their 30s and they grew up to be men, and even say they are a family! Of course we have to ask Tom about his one year of marriage to Heidi Klum, they married in August 2019* Tom: Yes it was a year ago and we celebrated our first anniversary and it was really nice and we were thinking back on how nice it was in italy and that we could travel just a year ago, which isn't as easy anymore now. And we are happy that we did that and can look back at that now.
