You have no idea how special of a moment that would be for someone who lives, breathes, and loves monster trucks to be able to sit in the driver's seat of Taurus. A true piece of monster truck history and a true legend! Can't thank everyone at the museum enough for putting this together over the years and maintaining it. Hope you had a lot of fun while you were there. Great video and thank you for taking the time to film it and share it.

Thank you! Most of these trucks were before my time, but it was still very neat to see! Neat history is being preserved at the museum.

Thank you so much sharing this! I used to go to monster truck shows all the time when I was a kid in the 90's. The shows were always so epic. I'm glad that someone is taking the time to preserve the history of monster trucks. On a side note; it would be great to see a classic Grave Digger in that museum at some point. 💀

Alot of viewers are saying the same thing...people appreciate the OG monster trucks! Thanks for the support. Yes, that would be cool to see.

I miss the days when monster trucks were built from real trucks and were show vehicles. The modern monster trucks don’t have the soul that the old trucks did
@theRCrenegade7 ай бұрын
That is before my time, but it was neat to see the trucks for sure! Nowdays everything is custom built lol
@andyguyuk17 ай бұрын
Couldn't agree more but the monster trucks of today are a work of art just in a different way, the way modern monster trucks defy gravity is unbelievable and the abuse they can take is amazing
@theRCrenegade7 ай бұрын
Yes! It is amazing to see. The nitrogen filled shocks are also pretty cool. The technology is amazing in the modern trucks.@@andyguyuk1

How Did They Do Gear Changes In those Trucks.
@theRCrenegade7 ай бұрын
There is a gear selector on the floor to the right of the driver. If by gear changes you mean actually replacing gears, idk, that's a question for Wildman Jeff!

Everett Jasmer's 1988 National Champion USA-1 was the first to incorporate an aluminum Profab quick change transfer case. Prior, most trucks ran the military transfer cases or such that didn't offer any ratio changes. To my knowledge, Cyclops ran a chain drive case that allowed ratio change with different chain lengths and sprockets.
