What pads are best to use for cleaning a gym floor at the company I work at they use pink but in past at a cleaning job used red and green but was when cleaning a city building where I worked years ago. Now just been using pink on a school gym floor guy over my manager told me to use pink but it doesn't give a high gloss after you use the floor scrubber plus it doesn't get rid of the black marks on the gym floor either in past used a green pad to get rid of black marks pink for a gym floor doesn't seem good to me to use though. They use a T3 floor scrubber battery operated. I know they have the one other one now that works on it's own though. This machine reminds me somewhat of the machine used to use downtown when was cleaning the police floors in the city building. This the first cleaning job that used a pink pad though but work in a school now but have worked in multiple cleaning jobs schools, offices and once in a factory. But when did office cleaning they stripped the floor more often here would be only once a year in the school.

Is it a wooden gym floor with a urethane coating? If so, routine scrubbing would be a red pad. Green would be more course and we wouldn't recommend it. Pink is usually used for high speed burnishing. The T3 only spins at about 200RPM, and it is used for routine scrubbing and light buffing. To get a high gloss we recommend a high speed burnisher with 1500 RPM.

Can you give me information on how to reset the charger to work with gel batteries?
@Caliberequipment2 жыл бұрын
With gel batteries, you shouldn't have to reset the charger. You would only have to if you went with flooded batteries. Check the owners manual for more information.

Do you have a video or instructions on how to remove a stuck brush pad if 1 nut locks in place, but 2 don’t. Thanks.
@Caliberequipment3 ай бұрын
That's a tough one - We've seen that happen on other machines as well. If possible, try to unscrew the stuck lug. If it is not accessible, you might need to unbolt the entire driver. We would advise calling a local service technician if it remains stuck.

@@Caliberequipment Found a small opening where you can stick a screw driver in to keep the motor from spinning then you can move the brush pad without the base spinning. Figured out that only one nut was catching because the belt was slipping a little preventing all the nuts from catching so make sure to check the belt regularly.

I'm using this machine to suck up water after we strip a floor. The scrubber stops spinning and the breaker pops but the machine still stays powered on. Any idea what could be going on? Thanks.
@Caliberequipment4 жыл бұрын
Hi Doug, it sounds like the breaker is popping from too much down pressure on the scrub head, which can overload the motor. We also don't recommend using the Viper AS510B to pick up stripper because the wax can build up inside the machine, causing damage to the fan and creating all sorts of other problems. Let us know if you have any other questions!

Can I use this to strip old wax
@Caliberequipment6 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can! If you use an auto scrubber to strip floor finish, we highly recommend rinsing the recovery tank and squeeqee blades thoroughly immediately after use.

Im using the machine in a foodland and from recently looks like water is not properly coming from the pad Does it have a filter or something that might be clogged?
@Caliberequipment4 жыл бұрын
Underneath the lower back right corner of the machine, there is a screw cap for the filter- That's the first thing I would check. Hope that helps!

Why the vacuum not power enough to vacuum water ? Is there any problem ?
@Caliberequipment3 жыл бұрын
Sounds like you have a clog or a hole in a hose, or the recovery lid could be loose. You are losing vacuum power which causes loss of suction. If you still need help, give us a call at 1-888-550-0945!

I use a Viper machine at work in a factory, the build quality isn't the best, recently the battery has been cutting out even though it gets a full charge every night. I've used Nilfisk machines in the past and they are much better.

I have one of these exact models in my workplace and recently been getting so stressed with it, the vacuum keeps cutting out, I keep having to reset it! Any ideas? The whole machine cuts out too when the vacuum button comes out at the back and then takes a good 2 to 3 minutes to reset.
@Caliberequipment2 жыл бұрын
It sounds like the vacuum motor is being overloaded. Check for a clog in the recovery hose or tank. If you can't find a blockage, it could be a weak circuit breaker that needs to be replaced. If you're still having problems, give us a call at 1-888-550-0945 and we can help further troubleshoot the machine.

How to install the brush plz help
@Caliberequipment3 жыл бұрын
You can either lift the brush and twist it into place, or you can place the brush underneath the deck, turn on the brush power button, pull then handle to start moving, and the brush should lock into place if the brush is centered correctly. Dave demonstrates this in the video, hope that helps!

could you strip the floor with this machine?
@Caliberequipment4 жыл бұрын
It's possible, though we don't recommend using the Viper AS510B to strip a floor. We've found that the wax and residue builds up inside the machine, causing damage to the fan and generally just causing more problems than it's worth.

How many hours we should charge
@Caliberequipment5 жыл бұрын
A good rule of thumb for charging is twice the run-time. For example. If you can get two hours of run-time from a full battery, it should take about 4 hours to charge.

Can I use this to buff floors too
@Caliberequipment6 жыл бұрын
Technically you could use a buffing pad with this machine- however since the Viper AS510B is a low speed machine, you would not get the same shine on your floor as you would with a high speed burnisher.
@Shecraftee6 жыл бұрын
Caliberequipment After a strip and wax, should you buff or burnish the floors?
@Caliberequipment6 жыл бұрын
It depends on how shiny you'd like the floors to look- After a strip and wax, a low speed buffer will give you a low luster, while a high speed burnisher will give your floor the best "high shine" look.
