Depending on what battery technology is installed , the batteries should not be charged daily or whenever machine is not in use , this prematurely wears lead / acid / gel/ and glass Matt batteries. The manufacturer of the battery is where the warranty lies so I see the machine manufacturer could care less about battery longevity
