Hi i have a xbox 360 trinity i followd your video and it's now rgh with the x360 ace v5 (found the wiring with google). My question is if you know: if it is possible to get dual nand set up after you already did the rgh? And is it possible to use x360 ace v5 instead of the v3? There is not a lot of info about the v5. I guess that I have to undo the rgh i have no idea how, and then follow your video for the dual nand. Is that correct? And will it be save to go online or will I get banned?

@MrMario2011 or anyone. I have watched several of these tutorials and I am attempting this in 2021. There is a lot of good information here but the information doesn't seem thorough for a newb like me. I just bought a limited edition MW3 console with a trinity mobo. Does the extra speaker and sound effects affect modding? I'm also not sure what to get to do a proper mod or if things have changed since the video. My shopping list includes: 1. Ace V3 Chip 2. Viper Dual Nand V2 3. Trinity Memory Add on QSB 4. Nand-X - Nand programmer and glitch chip flasher 5. TX XClamp Remover Tool Is this all that I need to get started? I'm not sure if I'm missing anything, or if there are better options in 2021.

The Speaker shouldn’t affect anything, you should be good! Have you modded the console yet? I’m also researching things but I’ve had RGH experience in the past. Your parts list looks good, just be sure you have the software on your windows-based computer installed prior to flashing the nand :)

I have xbox 360 slim ! It shows green dot when turn on but no video, no booting up on ward. I have done everything like checking HDMI, AV cable, usb ports, hard drive, still unable to find the solution. What would be the problem? RGH? HANA chip ? Recommendations ?

Thanks for the reply. Yeah that isn't a problem, I just had a Halo 4 limited edition one lying around and would rather rgh that one than my normal black trinity.

If you don't care about serial numbers matching that's an easy fix - RGH your Trinity and swap the cases :)

+Milad K. Its always been possible via direct wiring or with the use of an adapter, however he has a Corona V4 so Davis' tutorial wouldn't apply here.

Just get a second hand xbox 360 for 30 quid, in which you can have one for marketplace and one for hacks and save yourself going to all this effort.

Save yourself from the effort? If it was a software mod, sure, but this is barely harder than an RGH install and is about half the price of what you just put out there. Really if you can RGH a system, you can install this as well for $20 more.

MrMario2011 You say in your video that you rewired twice than had to flash the board again. So there's quality issues you've gotta deal with, if not some other issue if you've not made a mistake along the way. Plus this only works on the slim consoles, so i'm offering valid consumer advice for those with another model or just can't be bothered taking their slim apart. I know I'd rather take my chances on the softmod, who knows, might find a sweet bundle out there for the price.

There's other advantages, if you own digital games on your account, you can download them to the system in stock mode and still access them in RGH mode. Since you can't connect an RGH to Xbox Live without a stealth server, you'd have to download the games on the retail one onto a flash drive, then copy them onto the other one.
