It's why he was letting guys like Matt Sydel push him to his limit, that was his doing, I'm guessing he was pushing Tony Khan to use that ranking system. Listen to him talk about wanting to help elevate Curtis Axel on Cabana's podcast, that's who he is. He wanted to help people he liked. I'm certain Tony Khan would have ignored the ranking system to make CM Punk world champion on his first night if Punk would have wanted.
