I don't know how much has changed, but I've played the game like for 3-4 after launch and then quit and the problem why probably quite a lot of people quit the game is cheaters, and macro users not to forget mentioning about the unbalanced things in the game, that'd be my guess ^^ (Like C4 on prop and 1shot everything and couple other game breaking things) They are working on Arc Raiders, hoping for the game to be amazing too

To an extent. The bigger it gets the sooner it’ll be flooded with cheaters. This is one of the only games I can say I don’t run into cheaters. It’s a free game, all free games are tossed with cheaters. Warzone, apex legends, fortnite etc
