I love this organisation setup! Thanks! 😀 I agree consistency is a key factor in bookings success. 👍 So on VIPKid do you need to manually open your schedule every couple of weeks? Is there no recurring automation in place like on PalFish?

You can now duplicate your schedule availability week per week 😊

Hey! I went back to teaching part-time until summer as I'm a schoolteacher now. So excited to do this full-time again and spend the days out by the pool in the summer

Hey Kristen, I am just wondering how the teachers can make an apointment with the kids, like can the teacher see kids' schedule so that we can pickup classes? Or do we have to plan the schedule first and then the kids can make the booking? Thanks you for your help. Cheers.

Hi! Can you please do a video for some like me who lives in CST, living in Chicago. Also since I am a Seventh-day Adventist I need to have from sundown Friday to sundown on Sabbath (Saturday). Thank you for your help.

I love this idea, but what if not every slot books?

Nikki B. I evaluate my numbers each week and if I need to, I teach on the weekends. I teach in 30 minutes - 9-11pn EST to make up end of month numbers! 😊

How long have you been with VIPKids & How long did it take for you to get majority of your slots filled? I have read a lot of people complaining that it has taken months to even get one class!?

I watch videos as I get up in the mornings and my KZbin eventually moved to this video. At first, I was like "I know how to book classes. Duh!" I watched the entire video because you didn't sound boring :) OMG....I cannot believe how simple your strategy is and how much it made sense! lol I like to think I'm a pretty smart and money savvy person, but this idea clicked with me! Now, instead of opening more and more slots and making myself miserable every now and then, I am able to say NO because I have a plan and goal. Just in the past 3 days (since I watched the video) I feel so much weight and pressure lifted by opening more and more and seeing where I end up at the end of the month. I just finished my schedules from July-December trying to account for taxes, special occasions, days off and money I want to bring in. It may not be perfect, but I at least have an idea of what I want. You're great! I watch you other videos now :) Happy teaching!

I'm so glad this helped! I think so many teachers just go fishing for more and more slots, but having a monthly goal in mind and 'reverse engineering' the process makes it a lot easier! Let me know if there's any requested video topics!

Hey Kristen! Exactly the video I was looking for... I'm new and want to plan September like this! Have been getting about 90% trial classes... how would you calculate a budget for this given the 50% pay for trial sns? Give myself a lower average class $ rate?... thank you!! Ps yes have been successful in getting booked so far 😉

When are we supposed to open the schedule? Is it monthly or weekly.

How well does off peak hours scheduling work for you? Do you still get booked when it's 9am on Monday in China?

It took a year to get off peak times but I can usually book evenings on any day 😊

You can book evenings even during the school year? I assumed I could only work 6-10am EST during the school year + Friday and sat nights .... what’s your opinion/experience?

Hey Kristen! Love your videos, and thinking about starting up! However, I’m a teacher full time during the day. Will this work for me and my schedule? I was thinking I can open for a few classes in the evening, in the am before I leave for work, and the weekends too. Thanks so much! 💜

Hi, Nicki! I teach Pre K 9 am to 6pm and teach with Vipkid Monday-Friday from 5/6am to 8am (Central time) before work. On weekends, I also teach with Vipkid.... I've been doing it for a month now, and so far it's been working out well for me. Best of luck!

Greetings from my other channel! I actually sat long when I worked in corporate America, so it's really nice to just do 3-4 hours and then be done! AND I do stretch in my 4.5 minutes between classes!

Do people get booked in the evening? Isnt that when the students are at school?
@KristensClassroom

That depends on the time zone you live in. EST allows teaching 8:30pm to 10:30 am

The moment you started opening up evening slots though, I'm immediately assuming you're pulling all nighters... Am i right? Theres no way i'd be able to wake up to do 8 classes in the morning on 4 hours of sleep, lol....
