Viral Glass Teapot Gone Wrong - How NOT To Make Tea

Just trying to test this out and make some milky tea but unfortunate when i start pouring some luke warm water the glass tea t snapped! what did i do wrong guys!? isn't this tea pot able to withstand heat.

And with no water in the teapot, it's easy for it to explode if it's kept on fire and then suddenly filled with water.
