I am American, and as young university student in the late 1970s, I was involved the anti-apartheid movement that sought divestment from apartheid South Africa. I am proud to say that my daughter, who is in university now, is participating in the Pro-Palestinian movement on her campus. I am very moved to see this lady point out the relationship between the two movements across time. I look forward to the time when Palestine is free. I LOVE this lady! I'm white, with a little bit of Cherokee on both sides, but can't trace it yet because it used to be illegal to be Cherokee outside the reservation in Oklahoma, so nobody broadcast their genealogy if they wished to remain "free".
