Charles Was so nice for turning down the money because I feel like anyone’s instinct after being offered an reward that high like $25,000 you would automatically take it without hesitation, (including me) but he immediately refused and said that they money should go towards the victims. What a profound and thoughtful person Charles is.

And he gave away the free food items and things from McDonald’s. I couldn’t say I’d do the same. 25k can change someone like me life. Even if just to pay off Debt and get a reliable car. It’s life changing

Slate did a really good article about how many of these viral clips ultimately undermine the reasons behind what they were actually talking about: Running from a house fire, a home invasion, a public shooting, long waits for public transportation.
@Nooooooooooooooooooooo79135 сағат бұрын
Right rather than focusing on the real issues at hand causing these incidents (poverty, poor infrastructure, crime) the new story became a smoke screen

It’s crazy that most of these people were able to have careers after their initial success because we all know that people who get famous instantly end up being forgotten instantly. I wonder what happened to the woman who had the bipolar episode that became a meme. I hope she's doing okay. Initially, I thought it was funny until I found out she was bipolar and I can't imagine someone going through a mental health episode becoming a meme nowadays.

Bc it kinda is. Not bc of the creator but the stuff that BP go viral for. Michelle Dobyne, Courtni, Sweet Brown etc - whether ppl wanna admit it or not, are examples of minstrelsy. It's always those of us with no class, dignity & intellect that get the most attention. Polished BP don't go viral.
