Dry Shampoo does work! 😂 It’s a powder that “sucks” the oils out of your hair, so it doesn’t look greasy. We use it because it’s not good for girls to wash their long hair every day 😬

Allegedly, the powder compounds in dry shampoo absorb the oils on your scalp so you can extend the time between each conventional shampooing (and thus avoid having to start your hairstyling from scratch every single morning). The stuff has never worked well for me, so I'm a tad envious of those who can use it successfully. 😅

Powder shampoo can extend the time I between washing hair to feel fresh or when you don't have time to wash. For me it tends to make my head itch even with small amounts, I think it's too drying on my scalp so I never use it.

I used to put shampoo, conditioner, deoderant, body lotion etc in the bathroom for my family when they would visit. I always had a little something in their room to make them feel good. Nothing expensive. Now that I am disabled I can't to that anymore. Me and my son haven't had family come visit for about 5 years.

Dry shampoo is to help get rid of the oil in your hair. If you don’t wash your hair that much during the week or if you’re in a hurry and you should’ve washed it you don’t have time to use dry shampoo it gets rid of the oil and gives your body.
