The Maybelline Sky High mascara always falls flat for me even if I curl them first. It’s a very wet formula so it takes a bit to set. It might be because I don’t have the waterproof version though. Waterproof formulas tend to be drier. I love the Maybelline Lash Sensational though and sometimes I combine the two since the sensational is good at curling.

Best western brand mascara is from Catrice Cosmetics - German brand. It’s their Glam & Doll False Lash Effect waterproof - perfect for my short, straight, hard to curl lashes, watery eyes & hooded lids. And it’s cheap.
