Sorry, but if you’re a former CEO starting over at a whole new company, then it’s more than likely you ran your company into bankruptcy.

If he was as negligent as a CEO as he’s being now, it’s no wonder he lost that job.

Yep. Most of the time, a-hole old people are people who were a-holes their whole lives and just didn't die. It's not a very nice viewpoint, but it's true, nonetheless.

I'm going 35 this year and at my job I was trained by a 19 year old. I was new and didn't know jack. I wasn't bothered at all being trained by them because they knew what they were doing and everything. I listened, learned and very thankful for them for getting me to speed with the job and now I work with a good team. Without them, I'd probably wouldn't last long and be back to the waiting list for a job.

This story reminds me of a similar situation I dealt with in my late 20s - early 30s. I started working in IT when I was 18. After 10 years of hard work, I was promoted to Director of IT. There were a few employees that were 50+, and they HATED the fact that they had to report to a 28-year-old woman. They were insubordinate, rude, and sexist and they didn't try to hide it. One guy said to me, "You're just a little girl. Instead of working here, you need to train on how to be a great SAHM and housewife. If you'd like I can start training you." Well, imagins his surprise when he was called into HR the next day, and was told he needed to either resign or be fired and be sued for sexual harassment. He resigned, and the other 3 (50+) men never said a bad word about or to me during the rest of their employment with us. Within 5 years they all resigned and personally thanked me for being a great boss.

When much younger, I had to worked with a hangover. While no fun, it can be done. Regardless if an older employee, you still need to show respect to a younger supervisors.

I love how this guy kept saying he used to be a CEO as if that means anything. Yeah, the keyword here is "used" to be a CEO. Now, you're just a run of the mill employee so you don't get special treatment. And now, look what your massive ego has gotten you! 😂😂😂

He should've been fired after the second no call no show.. it's bad enough he wasn't going into work but he wasn't even calling out.. he's telling his boss F you, F this job, F your company. Why was he even still an employee? He has a shytty work ethic & an even shyttier personality.. he's a LIABILITY. He literally served no purpose for this business. You're paying him to nurse his hangover at home. He's getting paid to do absolutely nothing. I can see why his wife is "at her families house". He's crappy husband. Seem like he does the bare minimum as a husband like he do the bare minimum at work. He should've been fired as an employee and as a husband. What woman would stay married to THAT for even a second?

I use for a insurance company and the driver of a government minister got into an accident. Our company policy states that the person driving must come into to office and fill out an accident report. The government minister called and said his driver was busy and that I should take the report over the phone. Told him no and that the driver needs to come in. Then the ego line of “do you know who I am?” I told him yes, then asked if he knew who I was. He said no; I said good and hung up the phone. I did tell my boss who was the manager of the Claims Department and an attorney. I was his secretary and it was not my job but I like to help out. My boss’s reaction - he shook his head and laughed.

Wouldn't fit the template all these stories use. If I wrote half of one of these exchanges, they'd be reading a few paragraphs out loud before Person B gets to respond! Text, email, note in an envelope & stamp: all the same format for me.

In the past, the same few ‘Stories’ were continually recycled and rotated around, over & over. These synonymous, old, monotonous, and continually repeated Narratives were indistinguishable from each other except when simple Changes and Substitutions, or by Replacing random &/or particular Characters, Relationships, Titles, Places, and Other Unimportant Details. Of late, however, several new ‘Stories’ have been Created and Produced, resulting in some notable, new work! Your writers have actually taken some time to improve their Creative & Critical Thinking Skills in order to generate more complex and interesting Stories. As a result, the significant improvements to your ‘Stories’ are very apparent and happily received by your Audience! Thanks!
