All the people saying he is a bad captain and needs to step down, just think about the games he has saved as a batsman when all other top players failed consistently. He has backed the good players. I am upset to see raw talent like Umesh Yadav and Varun Aaron not getting the chances they deserve but I am sure there are reasons. He has given so many chances to players like Rohit Sharma who fails in 8/10 matches, consistent chances to KL Rahul doesnt justify but this man sees talent. It is because of him that the Indian fielders are amonth some of the best! He is the one because of whom yo yo test was implemented!! This man is legendary! Honestly speaking, the hardwork, dedication to the game he has shown over the years, be it for self improvement as a cricketer rather than a national interest, regardless he is an icon, probably better in comparison to players like Sachin!!
