"Feminism was born out of Capitalism" is like saying "Abolitionism was born out of Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade".
@india18464 жыл бұрын
true but if you think about it the main principles of feminism are for women to be successful, is economic success possible in a socialist country?
@adityajha48874 жыл бұрын
@@india1846 Depends upon one's subjective view of success. If success for you is accumulating wealth by exploiting the labour of others then, no. Also, any feminist struggle can't be looked at distinctly from the struggle against capitalism as it is this system that benefits from the exploitation and subjugation of women and thus reproduces the conditions of production at the time of production, effectively sustaining patriarchy.

I think this could have been a lot stronger and more on target. With all due respect, I was expecting stronger counter arguments.

The End should have been the starting point. Why one Side politically. As there are 100 year old branches from left to right of Feminism. Equality of Opportunity vs Equality of Outcome liberal and differentional feminism can work with capitalism, equity feminism cannot, as all this equality of outcome ideologys can co-exist without anything but themself. and mostly not even that.

With respect to the effort they put in, let's be honest, this is such a trivial and pointless debate 😂

Why are they paper speaker ? Can they don't speak without of it? Debating doesn't mean reading of your Chunk of speech ,it's a matter of explaining something impressively with examples , arguments and references in fluency.

There is nothing more ironic than a man talking about the benefits capitalism brings to women. He also gives the opening speech. That's what capitalism is. They present us the rights we should already have as a gift.

All brands sell feminism. Even traditionally male brands like home depot. “Feminism” is a huge selling point.

Viren import his wisdom on this issue from western education..... As an Indian,I would like to share spiritual wisdom of india and make you all aware that in Indian mythology we have goddess "LAXMI" and she is better known as the goddess of "WEALTH"...... FEMINISM CAPITALIST AT ITS PEAK..... In India,if most richest person wants to be more wealthy,he or she must worship goddess laxmi to bless him or her for the same...... Indian housewives are better known as "HOME MINISTER" as they have been managing their home and its budget very very efficiently........ By nature women are CAPITALIST.......but wait,if you think that just to do job and earn more n more money is CAPITALIST.......then I just say NO.......for me.....to manage the earned capital in fine tuned way with the aspirations of the family is also the natural quality of women........and I must say...... "MADAM" is "MASTER" to "MANAGE" the "MONEY"........ Because we Indian believe on one mantra..... "NARI TU NARAYANI" means Women is the real deity......the basic source of the power of god...... Now,I welcome if you want to say something or want to know something more about Indian philosophy of women. Namaste.......

A man dictating the roles of women in the society....huh typical. As a capitalist wealthwise and equalist genderwise (not a feminst), i would say that assigning roles to women, even of a deity is what is wrong with the fabric of the Indian society. No amount of celestial titles make up for the fact that our country stands first in rape and abuse.

@@mansiseth8796 with all due respect mansi ma'am,I would like to say that you are misinformed totally.....may be your thinking about India is influenced by western media or just media.....men and women are not competitors...both are equally important for each other ...I request you,pls refresh your set mind to fresh positive mindset.....approximately 1200 years of slavery,our society adopt some contaminated thoughts about women,but look our Indian ancient society where you can see, most powerful women characters and don't forget SHIVA AS ARDH NARISHWAR...... nature define the role of men and women in this cosmos........in Indian society we adopt the role of both as per natural aspect of life..... Every human have both feminine and masculine property.the perfect balance of both is the best way to live in the society......women can perform all men's stuff as equally and efficiently as men......but in this process,women must loose her feminine qualities.........this imbalance may ruin her beautiful aspects of being a woman...... Therefore please think again......what you want a balance approach or a imbalance approach of life......
