My experience in Virgin Atlantic's Premium Economy cabin from London Heathrow (LHR) to Seattle (SEA). This flight was on a 787-9 and I was seated in 24-K.

Thanks for posting about your experience in Virgin's Premium Economy. I'll be flying them on this route in PE next month. I've flown Virgin 7 times - not 7 roundtrips, but 7 flights - all in Upper Class, so this next trip will be a new experience for me. I was happy to hear the seat was comfortable. That's been my only concern about flying PE. The seats are thin and don't look comfortable. And yes, the FAs have always been absolutely amazing. Virgin is my favorite airline.

Great travel video. Comprehensive covering most of the bases. You are the first person that has mentioned the windows. So it seems that Virgin doesn't dim and lock the shades like other airlines.

Thanks for this video. I'm a big fan of Boeing's Dreamliner. The windows do that some getting used to. I don't know if Virgin does this (please you took a midday flight), I flew from Vancouver BC to Brisbane Australia. It was an overnight flight. The crew dimmed all the windows shortly after take-off and the cabin lights dimmed. Then when it was time for a meal, the inside cabin lights simulated sunrise and folks just woke up. After the meal, it was sunset and folks went back to sleep. They did the sunrise again when we were close to landing. For me, it helped a lot since I didn't get jet lag. Since then, the 787 have been my favorite plane to fly. I'm going to London from Seattle soon, I'll look into this. Keep up the good work.

Can anyone tell me if the middle arm rest in PE between seats A and C can be raised? I have purchased 2 tickets together (needed for extra room), but looking at all the videos so far, it looks like they don't. Flying this weekend from SEA-LHR for work. Thanks in advance. :)

Glad you enjoyed the video! The seat is definitely comfortable and spacious, but it does not lie flat. So, it really depends on your ability to sleep in a seated position. I was able to catch a bit of a nap during my flight without too much difficulty! I hope you enjoy your experience as much as I did!

Sit in bar and have some drinks at T3 in Heathrow rather than sitting in the waiting area

Samantha Covington Priority Pass is probably the easiest way......or if you are Gold Medallion(or higher) you can access some of the lounges.
