Excellent summary. Nice to not have verbal commentary. One question: on take off from LAX we heard the control tower communication to the flight deck. Is that available on the entertainment system? I used to love listening to channel 9 on UA flights but they stopped allowing us to listen in. I would love it if I can on VA.

Nice TR James... I flew with Virgin in their very first premium economy which at the time was called.. Mid Class and the cost from LHR to LAX £1,012 rtn...and we are talking the early 1990s here... was that good value back then?.

The dinner looked good. Thanks for not ordering fish. Did the crew hand out the Landing Cards a couple hours before landing? I would have chosen "Aquaman" as my movie of choice: I love the story and the beautiful Altantis architecture and advanced technology. Nicole Kidman and Amber Heard look great, as well as Willem Defoe, who has aged well. Regarding that purple mood lighting, is Virgin Atlantic the only airline that offers it? I wish more airlines used that color for their cabins. Tally Ho!

Problem if sat in a window seat and the person in front reclines. You can't get out ! The distance between the centre console and the reclined seat is 3-4 inches and you can't get your legs throughyou also have to be a contortionist

@@Whenitraveltheworld Oh I know the odds are low especially as i'm normally to be found in J anyway and their algorithm prefers to upgrade those who've never flown it to try and entice them to spend more in the future but my travel partner is one of the senior security team at LGW and we both know the BA station chief so hoping for an OpUp if there's spares going lol. At least as it's out & back to LGW we know it'll be a refreshed 777 with the better seats and IFE if we do have to slum it back in WTP hahahaa
