If you want to upgrade the router to a new version from VM they won't let you unless there is something wrong with it, despite new router's being more secure with better encryption.

You pay double the new customer prices on VM, you don't get the same discounts, and if you want to switch Broadband, TV and Phone to just Broadband only they tell you it's cheaper to stick with what you have got, which is wrong less services should be cheaper.

You missed out on the downside of having VM, still using legacy IPV4 and still no public release of IPV6. 😂

Also watch out for their fair use policy. My broadband was cut off ruitinely over a period of about 3 months. The customer service said there was nothing wrong with the account. I eventually got an engineer out who said I was using it too much and was hitting the fair usage limit. As I was out of contract I moved provider who handled everything.

On no account go with Virgin .I'm 63 and was with them for 15 yrs. Leaving has been a nightmare and is going to end up in court imo. The worst company I have ever delt with in 63 yrs👺

Paying more than x2 new customer rates after 12 years with VM. Other providers yet to deliver the goods on download speeds, wish they’d get a move on.
