Alexandra Breckenridge (Mel) One of the highlights of the Virgin River cast, Breckenridge is no stranger to Hollywood. The 39-years-old star has been in movies and TV shows for nearly 20 years now. Her role as Mel, however, has been a fan favorite, putting her into the limelight. For many of us, she is a heartbroken and yet still hopeful nurse that struggles to cope with the changes in her life. Yet, despite her believable performance, in reality, Breckenridge is happily married to the guitarist Casey Hooper, who is known for his works for Katy Perry. The couple met at a Grammy after-party and tied the knot in 2015. In 2016, they had a son named Jack and in 2017, their daughter Billie was born. Martin Henderson (Jack). The 46-years-old actor is from New Zealand. Despite being arguably the most good-looking man in the Virgin River cast, Henderson has proved himself over and over again that he has much to offer than just his looks. As Jack in Virgin River, Henderson is playing a restaurant owner with an army background. His years in the U.S. Marine have cost him having PTSD, making his character quite versatile and interesting. Although in the show, he falls for Mel almost at the first sight, his complicated relationship with Charmaine Roberts, played by Lauren Hammersley, puts him into a difficult position. I love the show I've been watching it all of the time maybe even watch them three times now. I think the fact that Charmaine's babies have been through two shows without being born as in real time, which makes everything stay as it is while everybody gets older except the babies, and we did find out that Charmaine said they weren't Jack's babies. that was a relief. I think they need to push forward more instead of being pregnant for two years. But I do love that shot.

I think Jack is the father. Mark probably had himself fixed so that he couldn’t have kids because he said in one episode that Mel was all he ever needed and she was all he ever wanted.

My family and I, live two hours south of Vancouver BC, and we have spent so much time in Canada. Prior to relocating here, we met & married in the Emerald Triangle, so we both recognized it was B.C. not Northern California, immediately. Have stayed in Squamish, nearly 40 years ago and rafted that River, on Indian land, that is on the way to Whistler. Vancouver B.C. is the Hollywood of Canada,I remember long, long ago, a couple in Whistler asked if I was from the South, I laughed and said I was originally from S Cali, but I left there ASAP, when I was legal age to go. B.C. is gorgeous, we love the fjords, Squamish Rock, we thinks that’s the Frazier River, the lake shots, look like a lake near Blackcomb, which we took a float plane ride from, such beautiful scenery, though of course it looks nothing like Northern California to us. We are extremely familiar Sonoma, Mendocino, Humbolt & Del Norte counties. We love VR, such a great cast, can’t wait for season 5, hope it airs soon…❤

This show is so good, I just got to S4 e1 Mel and Jack play such a believable couple. what's her name tried so hard to sabotage their relationship I can't think of her name but I hated her, how sneaky she was trying to split them up... she cooled it "for now" (I have a feeling those babies aren't going to be his) They're both so layed back and I just love the way he expresses his love to her and what she means to him. When he told her when he fell in love with her, damn now I can't word it right! It made me cry, it was Soo Sincere and touching 🤧 🏹 💘 ,💘💘💞💞 🏹💘💘💘 💞💞💕💞😘 It's cool how they have all different ages of people in this too it's not just young people not all pretty people. I like Doc, remember him when he was younger on TV
