A 42-year-old Virginia man got to embrace his birth mother for the first time during a long-awaited family reunion in Valdivia, Chile. For months Jimmy Lippert Thyden has been on a journey to uncover the mysteries of his counterfeit adoption, and to reconnect with his biological family. He told NewsNation his mom "cried an ocean of tears" praying he would be found.

I was taken at birth from Santiago Chile … they told my mom she couldn’t take care of me… she tried to run away with me at the hospital but to no avail ….. my mom. Is currently in Chile now and I’m still here in America just finding this out as well ….. I’m on disability for my health and don’t have the means to meet my mom in person …. It’s so hard and I want to hug her as much she wants to hug me … I’m glad this Chileno gets what I haven’t yet …. Gos bless and May the other adoptees like myself get their chance to hug their mom ! I just saw another article about a Chilean man who was stolen at birth the same reason was given to his mother he was premature and the nurse’s told his mother that he died his name is Tyler Graff I wonder if being stolen happened to only premature baby’s because saying they died would explain what happened to them which is a extremely evil and mean thing to do to a mother no matter how many kid’s they have ‼️‼️

Was anyone else taken aback by the way the anchor sounded? This story is disgusting, not heartwarming. And I don’t blame the anchor at all. She sounded disingenuous, like she was told to focus on the one good thing that came out of a tragedy that NEVER should have happened in the first place. And it happens all over the world, especially in vulnerable communities. Which of course we breeze right by that icky stuff. I hope the people who run GMA type shows get with it.
