Max, I would really like to talk with you sometime about this most interesting period in colonial migration & settlement. I'm a living historian on the side, portraying Col. Thomas Cresap of the Ohio Company, and have done some in-depth research on the personalities associated with that pioneering westward movement.

I notice that you made no mention of the Ohio Company of Virginia, nor its founder & factor, Col. Thomas Cresap and his early collaborators including Thomas Lee, George Mason and Lawrence Washington of Virginia who served as early land developers (not "speculators") in the westward colonial settlement which actually precipitated the French & Indian War through young George Washington's leadership in the incident at Jumonville Glen.
