A 17-0 second-quarter run for third-seeded Virginia Tech propelled the Hokies to a 58-37 victory over second-seeded Duke, as Tech won its first-ever chance to play for an ACC title. Georgia Amoore was an unstoppable force all afternoon, as she scored 24 points, hitting 6-8 from beyond the arc. She also added 7 assists and 5 rebounds. Liz Kitley finished with 8 points and 11 rebounds.

There is just one reason why the Duke lost the game, they can't find their rhythm and they can't shoot the ball. Their shooting percentage is very low and it is a wonder why they miss the shots. Maybe there is really a saying that sometimes there is an off night in basketball, and I guess this game they are off night. ACC Digital Network is amazing for uploading this game.
