Andrew Paschall The Hunter/Maye matchup was a nightmare for UNC. Maye is going to have the same problem with Zion on both ends. I don’t know if Little would have made enough difference for this game but they really need an inside presence. Brooks is not enough.

All respect to to the Carolina kids , they played hard,as a true Tarheel since the late 60 ,With the exception of white , they have nobody that compete every play, will give Maye a pass because he is playing on just trying to work harder than the next guy . Kenny Williams is probably the biggest disappointment. He not given them anything on the offense team and his defense is not much better. Brooks need to get down the court after a dunk and quit posing. Johnson legs are gone from carrying the load the first part of the season no lift at all. Roy is taking the fall for his boys like a good coach should but he is getting hammered by duke recruiting. Have to get VA credit they got some guys that will pick up checks on Mondays. Besides White heels have no one . little is a big question ,his toughness is not there. These guys should look at Tyler Hansborogh that kid played as if his life depended on it. My boys will get hot and make another march run. As always go HEELS FOR Life!

Hey Anthony Green. I think you pretty much nailed it ! Besides Kobe White, carolina has no real players. I mean, Cam Johnson is a good 3 point shooter, and some nights he gets hot from 3 pt. line, But, the dude is 6'9" tall ! He's a forward. He's supposed to be banging in the paint, dunking the ball, getting rebounds, and blocking shots ! But instead, because he's a good 3 pt. shooter, he wants to run outside and play the guard position ! Half the time you see him on the offensive end, he's hanging around the 3 point line ! He's supposed to be in the paint doing the work of a forward. He's a skinny wimp and a poor excuse for a 6'9" forward ! We have 2 good 3 pt. shooting guards, we need Cam on the blocks where he belongs ! But Roy let's him get away with it so we suffer on the low post. And then you have Luke Maye, a 6'8" forward that also wants to play like he's a guard and shoot outside half the time ! He does get some rebounds and some trash buckets, but I mean honestly, he can't jump and he can't compete with guys inside that are athletic and as tall or taller than he is. Luke is another weak link at the forward position just as Cam is. And then, as you said Anthony, Nassir Little has not come through for us as a power forward or a small forward. He has had a couple of inspiring games, but for the majority of the time he's been a big let down and a non-factor ! Now he's hurt. Thanks a lot Nassir ! Is Roy to blame for not helping to develop him enough ? I don't know ? We can only hope that he continues to improve on a steep curve because we have to have another leaper on the inside since our seniors ain't getting it done ! He can definately jump and dunk, but basketball is a lot more than that. Then, as you properly assessed Kenny Williams, he has been a Huge disappointemt on the offensive end ! True, his defense is pretty good, but even that wasn't great last night as we saw him let the UVA guard, Guy, get loose for 2 straight 3 pointers ! That was what sealed the victory for UVA. What a pooch Kenny Williams is this year. He was better last year ! Then there's Garrison Brooks. Garrison was a little wimpy last yr. and some of this yr., but I can honestly say that he has drastically improved to the point that he just may be able to take on the good big men of Duke, UVA, and Syracuse ! I mean, Garrison has noticebly improved over the course of this yr., and especially over the last few games and he is actually somewhat of a force down low now. He's our only big man ! The rest of the "big men" for carolina want to be guards. Not to mention Huffman and Manley who just can't keep from stumbling over their own feet. Actually, Manley may eventually be pretty good, but not this year ! They aren't athletic enough or tough enough to play forward or center. If Garrison Brooks continues to gain confidence, we may have hope of being a team with an actual big man in the paint that is effective, and a team that can be very good. But we won't ever be elite this year unless Nassir can get his head outta his ass and start being a slasher/scorer/rebounder/shot blocking force in the paint so that Kobe and Garrison have at least one more really good helper to carry the load. That's how I see it. Our only hope is with Kobe White who is already Great, Garrison Brooks who is showing signs of being a real force in the paint, and Nassir little who has great athletic explosiveness but who hasn't shown any consistency. I don't think you can count on any others. Certainly not Seventh Woods, although he has improved, not Leaky Black, who is hurt but also not experienced enough, not Manley--clumsy, not Huffman-no defense, Not Kenny Williams, Luke Maye, or Cameron johnson---all wimpy, and definately not Walker Miller or kenny Smith.

@@lightningfisher8177 It got to a point where our entire family was counting the amount of moving picks VA was setting per play. It was almost always 4-5. Yet, the refs called ONE moving pick in 40 minutes of play. Which baffles me.
