So so similar, I often thought he was bipolar, lots of highs and lows, anxiety so he self medicated with alcohol. Gaslighting, lying, breadcrumbing, manipulative, controlling 🤦🏻‍♀️, I only realized after I left just just how much emotional abuse that toxic relationship gave me. I ended it after 30 years and like you I also left just before Xmas almost 2 years ago. New city, new home and healing.

Wow spot on however he has a new women who bought hima house and there is no way I would ever reconnect. But everything else resonated. He lied and has deceived me so much the respect trust is done.
