All of your readings have been spot on so far. Dealing with a dismissive avoidant Gemini. He's in therapy though and working on himself. Sadly, his attachment style does not stem from his childhood he told me but from PTSD after his deployment in Afghanistan. His marriage fell apart because of it. He told me he doesn't want to get into a relationship until he betters himself because it wouldn't be fair toward me. But we're friends and text every day. He wants to see me, but he's not in a safe mental space to do so. It's not easy, but we make it with what we have. I also learn so much about myself still in this connection. Twin Flames? Maybe. I was on my healing journey years ago after an abusive relationship and understand where he's at now. Unfortunately, he has a lot to unpack and heal from. He doesn't want me to wait for him though in this uncertainty. I'm not a person who goes out dating though either. People show up in my life by coincidence (like he did), we feel a connection, become friends first, and at one point, I may feel more for somebody since I'm slow to open up.

I’m the Virgo and I’m the one not committing. It’s because I don’t really like him or his thinking nor his values. And he wants to please me but it doesn’t feel like it’s coming from an honest place. But I couldn’t be firm with my first NO because I’m tired of being alone/touched deprived and really wished this could work, and of course it turned out very messy. Sounds like an avoidant. I'm dealing with it, too. It's a push-and-pull and the dismissive avoidant in particular goes into silent mode to process. Look up avoidant attachment styles. Worst case scenario a narcissist, but there'd be more red flags for that.

Unfortunately im in a connection where i was dumb enough to fall in love with another virgo and she has a BF but he's cheated on her and caused her emotional damage and everything else and ive shown her how a real gentleman is supposed to be or act and I've told her how i felt and and each time she's pushed me away and I've ignored but i still kept persistent because i honestly feel like me and her are soul mates or we're at least meant to be but she still hasnt told me how she truly feels for some reason and its not like im forcing her to open up to me but damn i know she feels the same way that i do about her.
