So sorry for your loss. I lost my mother 13 Jan 2022. I knew it was coming, had to brace myself. I told her I had to see it differently, as if only a temp. separation, in order to not crumble - she let me see it my way. May have joined me in that view herself. I do miss her, but it feels really as if she never left me. It saved me a lot of grief. Crazy as it sounds, it's the truth. From there on out, I see death as not the end, just the transition it is to the next phase of life. It does matter what you tell yourself, your mind will believe. Either way, you have not lost anything but their physical in body presence, the soul can never die. That love shared transcends - that can never be extinguished. They are nearer than you know. Peace to your heart. 🙏💫❤

Thank you for all responses, but it gave me strength. Yes I felt I was dying with him being sick for weeks to come. Still , I crying or on Father ‘ s day and I feel deep sadness, not knowing it was the day! I switched the days and thought it was day after day! But feeling deep sadness of missing him that day. I just wanted to say it gave me incredible strength and knowing.I talked to him when people pronounce him dead . I was afraid people may think that I am crazy. I felt his spirit and I fell him being with me. I saw him above his bed , young and strong.Many unexplained occurrences happened since. It gave strength and spiritual awakening.He told me, among other things, that he is fine and not to worry. He was happy I was there with him.

A true connection shouldn’t come with an obstacle course . You’ll spend more time on waiting and being short changed than actually connecting with someone. By the time you actually get to a real relationship you’ll be so chock full of resentment and gone through so much drama that you’ll realize the whole situation is built on complete nonsense that there’ll be more backstory than a lasting future .
