Hi Virgo here, there's some things that I think apply to a typical Virgo that hasn't done the inner work. In my case because I only have Virgo in my sun and nothing more, sometimes I have a hard time relating to other Virgos and their issues. From what I have seen the tidy and perfectionist part comes across way more if the person has a Virgo rising. Since my sister has that placement, she has everything in order and likes to micromanage, when I'm always a bit messy in my bedroom . Dunno, I think a long time ago I realized that nothing can be in control ( at least on the outside ) but one can control with what you do with yourself and that is what I have learned from my pets and breakups. (I have a Scorpio moon and a Libra mercury ) I usually clash with some Saggitarius because of their escapism and chaotic nature, which I feel is way more intense than Geminis. I have lots of Geminis in my life; it's my favourite sign. Many of my closest friends are Geminis, so I think it depends on the person and the context. If there are some faults of my dark Virgo side, I always try to check on that because I have lost friends in the past and people because of those traits and if the goal is to "improve oneself then it is important to put aside our ego ( thinking of being right and what is logical and not logical ), and to think what is important in the bond we have. If we truly care about our friends then any issue should be approached with the focus of choosing our battles and what truly matters. Most of the time, the need to criticize comes as a way to control because on the inside there's chaos and insecurity. Even the most tidy homes can be the most energetically dirty. Perfection from what I have seen is a facade an irrelevant for the mere reason that what works for one person is unpractical for others, and if the motive is to make something efficient then eventually it will crumble because people evolve, and as they evolve that perfect thing will become obsolete on the long term. That doesn't mean that we should not aspire to improve but if we do we have to take into account the very nature of things and not fight them in the process.

Hmm.. how about if I say this way, hopefully, you'll understand where I'm going. It's like when Virgo find a considerable flaw that they might assume it will be causing a lot of problems in the future (cuz they're some real good problem solvers), they're going to criticize u in a child like manner, for an example, "hey, I'm gonna criticize you till I'm blew in your face until you feel like horrible human being but because you broken down, now Ican build you back up again." It's a child like approach, they maybe harsh and brash with their words but when they see you that you've realized yourself as who you're (aka brokendown) the Virgo gonna go all gentle on you to help you to build a strong character. Their way of logic is hellfire, and they do it naturally, and hellfire exist to burn the lies away. That's what they do to you, they breakdown the facade of you in order to build your character strong because, for example, when you take a real diamond they were made deep down in the ground with a lot of pressure and heat like that way these people know that in order to build character in people, they need to suffer in pain for a considerable amount, and that's what they do to you verbally, and they do it in a way with their child like innocent logic, you have to accept them for who they're cuz they're the silent contributors for the society, atleast to their loved ones.

As a Virgo rising myself the thing that I don't get about dark Virgo sun or Virgo energy. Is how the hell are you going to be so book smart & ruled by Mercury. I’m a Virgo sun, moon, and mercury lol. I have a lot of Virgo traits. Also a Gemini rising and Gemini mars so I’m airy as well. I’m pretty light sided and close to my parents. After watching this, I have a. better understanding why my (exclusive) situationship with my 20yo younger Aries works fine, with humour as a common trait. Yep as mentioned many many times this is just the sun sign aspects, The sun is the outer world, moon sign is who we really are, the rising is the lense/sign we see the world though, Venus how we love. Since most humans have no sense of self now in a modern day world they operate mostly from their sun sign if they are not spiritually connected, to themselves. So sadly, it removes a lot of the placements. As they were never really developed to begin with.
