It's fun and correct to dunk on the jankiness of this game BUT YOU CANNOT DENY how good that 3D linescrolling floor looks, complete with actual transparent circle shadows rather than solid or flickering circles. Greatest floor in the 16-bit generation, even the NeoGeo/CPS-2/CPS-3 don't have a floor to surpass the majesty of VF2's floors on the Genesis Hell this looks even better than the floors on Saturn VF1 ha ha ha ha
