VIRTUA STRIKER 2002: SEGA'S FORGOTTEN GAME

Virtua Striker was basically that game that people heard about but never actually played. This game is a hidden gem!

I loved the Virtua Striker franchise so much, it's a shame that is discontinued since 2006. I always thought the Virtua Striker games so realistic when I was a kid.

Some of the mobility in this game is very realistic and nice, I really enjoy it.

I have to say, good video overall! I always felt that Virtua Striker was underrated and it was a different alternative to PES/Winning Eleven and FIFA and this is coming from a person who played PES (or International Superstar Soccer back in the day!) a lot! As for the gameplay, good stuff! Loved the scrappy goal against Liberia (not going to mention the penalty kick!) as for Senegal, it happens. Coming from me, the tactics I did to people on this game alone..., rage quitting was the half of it! A friendly tip while playing VS2002, you can heavily frustrate the AI by getting three players sent off and attempting to score goals from a long range....trust me, it works (have a look on my playthroughs on VS3 and VS2002, shameless plug....I know!). Nothing beats a nostalgia trip with this one and happy to watch it!

Yeah honestly for its time it is a really good game. I really enjoyed the gameplay and although it is a game that I didn't play too much in my childhood, it does feel very nostalgic with the sounds and etc. I am glad you enjoyed the video, will definitely do a part 2! Stay tuned!

I didn't know sega also made soccer games. I only knew about virtua tennis. ^^
