Hello Echo Papa .... My name is Dan . I'm a mobile DJ in Montreal . been in the business almost 30 years . Must say that you are one of the few people who have made videos that has taken the time to explain actual relevance of various functions of Virtual Dj . I use VDJ with a MAc and 2 Pioneer CDJ 400's as controllers . Rock solid . I have been reluctant to upgrade to VDJ 8 because "If it ain't broke , don't fix it" and VDJ 7 is so reliable for me , however I do like some of the new features like Slip mode and colour coding song titles for easy reference and Font resizing etc.... How reliable is VDJ 8 ? Even VDJ has emntioned that they are still tweaking stuff ...My reputation is too precious to gamble ...thanks in advance with your feedback . Do you also know if my decks and their configuration will remain unchanged in VDJ 8 ?

I personally have never tried those controllers, but they are listed as supported. While I won't lie to you and tell you that I have never made it crash, it's never been when I was just dj'ing. It was always when I was experimenting with it, trying to push it's limits. But I feel your pain, it's hard to go from something 100% reliable to something that is 99.9% reliable. Especially when your job is at stake.
