so i decided to do an updated version of How to set up a playlist on Virtual DJ 8 . I previously did a video on Virtual DJ 7 which helped a lot of people over the past few years .
Virtual DJ 8 has a lot more features so hopefully over the next few months I can make a few more tutorials for Virtual DJ Fans .

When using the automix, how do i set the pitch to say 8% and get it to stay at that for the entire playlist? Thanks and great video!!!! Thanks for your work

Great. I didn’t know about right clicking to edit the entry and exit points of the next track. I used it on New Years Day and it immediately made me better!

I started in VDJ, then switched to serato when I had to use the equipment provided at a bar residency, and just now switching back to vdj because i want to do video, serato video is trash for windows even though i have a good specs computer with dedicated graphics card. 95% of wedding DJs in my area cant beatmatch to save their lives they rely solely on vdj automix, bit to each his own. I think it will finally let me do what serato couldnt, to be able to step away for a minute during ceremony/cocktail without having to be glued to my computer/mixer. The automix futire on serato is garbage, plays out the whole song and theres a akward silence

It's a very handy tool to have the Automix. As you have pointed out that you can leave the decks and it will do the job autopilot style.. Never replaces the dj cos its not about that.. But it's a virtual dj to back you up. 👍
