Thank you, finally got it working. But at first not showing full screen so had to deactivate hardware acceleration.

Hi Brian - thanks for the videos, excellent stuff. I have a question that you might be able to help me with.... At present I am running VDJ on a MacBook Pro - which has 1 mini display port. No probe thus far as I have been using this port for the video feed out to Projectors / screens. But, noe I would like to run multiple monitors off of the same port (extended desktop) as well as the live video feed out of VDJ. If I was to invest in something like "Matrox Triple head to go", would VDJ recognise the separate outputs, and be able to choose either / or?. or would it just only see "1" output?. Thanks Brian.... I am just getting into video, and this was helpful. Have you used VDJ to put in lighting cues? DJ Mikey Mike used a plug in called Sweetlight or something like that that uses ShowXpress with VDJ to control lighting effects. I would be interested in your take on this.

Hey Rob, so here is my problem. I want to run my karaoke videos, using the karafun program, onto multiple tv's. At the same time, I want to run the audio through a pro audio sound system via a mixer. Where I run into trouble is...video and audio both run through the hdmi cable and it shuts off the line-out/headphone jack on my pc. Is there a way to tell the computer to ignore the audio signal in the hdmi cable and default to the computers audio output jack? Any advice you may have would be appreciated.

You might want to mention that you MUST have your second monitor extended for this to work. To extend your monitor on windows 7+8, simply press the windows key (the one that looks like a flag) and the P key a the same time. A menu should pop up- choose the extend option. VDJ should now see your monitor.

Hi I've got acer laptop running virtual dj but the programme won't pick up the extra monitor to put the words on the screen, bit confusing but I have the dj programme showing on both the laptop and monitor, any advice please on how to set up so only the words come onto monitor. Thanks in advance

Thanks but after I stretch it onto my tv screen how do I keep it on there as when I minimise it on my pc to work with Vdj it minimisers it on the tv screen too

I am a total Mac idiot. My guess would be to set up your mac to do an extended desk top whenever you have a secondary video source plugged in. Then it should work the same I would think. Andi Crampton is a MAC & VDJ user. I bet he could shed some light on this for you

I'm not sure what light you are talking about. The only 2 lights I'm seeing on the ADJ site with the word HEX in them are the Vertigo & Aggressor Hex LEDs which are both effect lights. There is a new Ultra GO PAR7X that I'll be doing a video on this weekend. Is that the one you were thinking of?

Roy Bezuijen Yeah ADJ isn't listing it yet stateside. My guess is it may have been at LDI & that company took a picture & is accepting pre-orders. We will see if we see it at NAMM in a few weeks :)
